As long as Spiritomb is your Active Pokemon, each player can't play any trainer card from his or her hand.

So, trainer card include stadium and poketool.

for example, can't play Rare Candy, Miasma Valley or Energy Gain???

You can play Miasma Valley, since it is a Stadium, not Trainer. But you cannot play Poke Tools, Trainers, or TM's.

Yes, that is correct. Stadiums and supporters are their own type of cards, and do not count as trainers.
I did not know about the tools though. This is very informative
