Got a question i tried to look up in alot of different places (sorry if im blind) . Lets use raichu has an example. When XY raichu rotates out of standard will I still be able to user it because theres an exact copy of it in generations? Thanks in advance.

Yes, reprints are legal as long as the text and effects are exactly the same. Per the rulebook (emphasis mine):

1.4. Reprinted Cards
From time to time, cards printed in previous expansions are reprinted in a new expansion. Unless the card text is identical to the new version of the card, it will not be legal.

For example, Max Potion was just reprinted in BREAKpoint, so the copy from Emerging Powers is legal as well. Skyla from Boundaries Crossed is legal because Skyla from BREAKthrough and BREAKpoint are in Standard.

If Generations is in a future format that XY is not a part of, Raichu XY would be legal because of both prints of the card in Generations and Radiant Collection.
