Raikou for Regionals?

Last night I played durant at a states in Indiana and took 3rd. I know heatmor and speed zoroark from dark rush is going to kill durant. I got this idea after hearing about and playing against straight terrakion.

Raikou EX – Lightning – HP170
Basic Pokemon

[L][C] Thunder Fang: 30 damage. Flip a coin, if heads the opponent’s Active Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
[L][L][C] Voltage Arrow: Discard all Lightning Energy attached to this Pokemon, then do 100 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance when damaging the Bench.)

Pokemon-EX Rule: When Pokemon-EX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1


I might need some more energy but the idea is to paralyze with the first attack and if there is something that you ned to knock out quick you can hit it for 100. Im thinkin about just goin with straight terrakion but what do you think

The format for the next group of Regionals is HS-ND. So I think it's probably a good idea not to use Raikou for Regionals.

Also, I feel like this would have a 5-95 matchup against straight Terrakion, which is gaining some steam.

The actual list seems a little light on energy.

so we cant use dark explorers in regionals that is music to my ears I have another tourney to play durant

You could always use eelektrik as energy acceleration and to help recharge after sniping with raikou's second attack.
