In the upcoming Stormfront, Scizor caught me into a thought. Is Scizor a glance to the future cards?
Look at Torterra from DP. At first, it is not being look into as it need 4 energy to do only 60 damage. Same things goes to Torterra Lv.X, 4 energy for 100, 30 bench and 30 to itself. Even the Torterra MD need also 4 energy to do 100 damage.
But see, Without Sceptile from GE, Torterra is like a piece of wasteland. No one knows that will there be any cards that can tech with Torterra, until Sceptile came into the picture.
And now, Claydol has been a important supporting card in current format helping the player to have 6 cards in hand. It is like an almost necessity in every deck. But take a look at Scizor's (SF) attack.
[G][G] Push Through: 40 damage. If you don’t have any Pokemon with Poke-Powers in play, this attack does an additional 30 damage.
Does it means that in the near future, probably after GC, there will be Body that can take over the place of Claydol's Power?
**Sorry for the poor grammar I have here....
