"Well it led us to that underground switch thingy. It'll tell us where the Control Tower is," Tartar said, opening the journal.

IC: "We should go for this one," he pointed to a stick in the journal. It was very short. "It seems like it'll be the easiest because it's so short. Let's roll!"

After 20 minutes of walking, you see a little grey hut. It looks more like a block with a door on it, because it's hardly decorated. "This will be easy," Tartar says as you open the door. You enter, and you're in a plain, grey room with absolutely nothing inside. "Well that journal was a ripoff! C'mon, let's get out of here!" But just then, the door slams shut, and locks on it's own. 16 Dugtrio and 2 Diglett appear out of the ground.

"We are Dugfifty! And now that you turned the Return Portal off, we cannot let you out alive with the knowledge you have!" a Diglett said as all of the enemies dash at you.

Salaric takes to the air and goes above the Dugtrio and Diglett, then fires a Fire Blast at the mass of brown heads.

Hatman looked at Tartar dissapprovingly for rushing into a situation blindly. Again. After some thought about the enemy he said, "Does anyone know Earthquake? It'd more than likely do double damage to most of the Dugtrios, since they're underground."

Slash unsheathed his father's sword and muttered a few words. The sword became wrapped in a blue energy, radiating power. Ice. With a yell he stabbed at a Dugtrio that had popped up in front of him.

"Bet you haven't seen that before," Slash muttered. "The power of Ice Punch contained in a sword."

Six Dugtrio were knocked out. "These Dugtrio are weak! That's why they fight in numbers. Time to RAGE!" Tartar used Outrage and knocked out two more Dugtrio.

"Use the sword!" Slash yelled at Hatman. "Wrap your power in it!"

Tartar used Outrage to knock out another Dugtrio. Then he spun around, dizzy, talking gibberish.

"I'm not going to be of much Help in this fight. Magnet Rise." Jolt levitated above the Dugtrios so he wouldn't get KO'd.

"Everyone, get back! I'm gonna hit them all at once!...And someone gets Tartar out of the way, he doesn't look capable of it himself. Earthquake!" Salaric slammed into the ground in the middle of all of te Dugtrio, hoping to score multiple KOs.

3 Dugtrio were knocked out by the quake. Then the remaining Dugtrio and Diglett dug underground.

"Huh? What?" Tartar got hit by the Earthquake. "Owww..."

Hatman, eager to get in to action, unsheathed his sword and brought it to his side. He started to concentrate his energy into the sword, unleashing a firey aura around the metal blade. He held it in an agressive position, and waited for a Dugtrio to spring out of the ground.

IC: Two Dugtrio dug up from Hatman's feet, attempting to trip him.

"Finally some action I can get into! EARTHQUAKE!" Fly looked menacing as he whipped his tail on the ground causing a massive earthquake.

After it hit, he wondered if he could dig under ground and destroy them there...

All Dugtrio and Diglett were hurt greatly. Tartar then snapped out of his confusion and dodged the attack. "HUH!? Oh yea. Time to get serious!" he used Crunch on a Dugtrio and knocked it out. The Dugtrio and Diglett responded with a group Slash on everyone. Tartar was hit, but not much.

Slash yelled "Dark Pulse!" and made a slashing motion with the sword. A dark beam came out of the sword and raced towards at a cluster of 3 Dugtrio. He repeated this in the direction of a Dugtrio that had been approaching him from behind.

The Dugtrio were knocked out. The two remaining Diglett used Aerial Ace on Slash and Tartar.

Tartar crouched, but he was hit by the ace. "Eep!" he aimed a Crunch at the Diglett that Aerial Aced him, but it already dug back into the ground.

Slash met the attack full on, getting hit with the attack and hitting the Diglett with Night Slash at the same time. He staggered back, but the attack hadn't been very effective.

Crystal, after seeing the battle go on decided to help, and used Blizzard. "That should finish them."

The Diglett were knocked out. "Are you all OK?" Tartar asked. "Well, now what?"

The ground collapses under you. You fall and land in a room with a grey tiled floor. Each tile is numbered one through twenty. There's a steel door in front of you, but you can't open it. There's something written on the door. "It says: 'I am a Pokemon. I could be beneath you and you wouldn’t notice. However, I would be unharmed. One of every 20 of our species may hold the Hard Stone key to enter the next floor. Who am I? Cry your answer or perish here forever!'" Tartar read.
