Ruling Milotic's Ability Energy Grace

im here building a deck with a friend and were unsure about abilities that knock out your pokemon. I'm more focused on Milotic's ability Energy Grace where you knock it out and add 3 basic energies to a pokemon you control. does the opponent still draw a prize card?
(on a side note, when your pokemon does damage to one of your own benched pokemon, does your opponent draw a prize card?)

Yes, your opponent draws a Prize when you take any action, such as Milotic's Energy Grace that Knocks Out your own Pokemon, even if you willingly activate it. As long as the term "Knock Out" is there, or something you do reduces a Pokemon's HP to 0, it's counted as a KO and the opponent draws a Prize. It doesn't matter if you or your opponent triggered it, a KO is a KO. There's nothing you can do to change this, with the exception of a couple of specific cards. For example in Expanded play, the card Life Dew makes it so your opponent draws one less Prize card if the Pokemon it's watched to is Knocked Out. On a non-EX Pokemon such as Milotic, this would result in no Prize cards being drawn.
