How do resistances/weakness work when you are using another pokemon's attack with Mew EX's versitile attack? The same question goes for zoroark's foul play (Most dragon types are weak to dragon types)

Does the attack take on the card type characteristics Mew EX is using?
Example:
Mex EX out I use Terrakion's pump up smash against a Darkrai Ex. Does the darkrai take 2x 180 damage because he is weak to fighting types or 90 cause Mew Ex is a psychic type?

Using the psychic type resist seems to neuter the potential of this card if so. If you run a deck with prism energy and Mew EX. You could pick and choose the max damage potential of this card and it already disadvantaged because of the very low HP.

You mean 70 damage. Don't forget, Darkrai EX resists Psychic.

If any attack is being copied in this way, be it Versatile, Foul Play, Metronome, or whatever, the attacking type is always the user of the attack, not necessarily the owner. If Mew EX copies an attack, it's always Psychic type. If Zoroark copies an attack with Foul Play, it's always Dark type, and so on.

Also, in future, please post card scans of the cards in question you're referencing, as it saves us having to look them up. Thanks, and welcome t othe Beach!
