Does anyone else feel that there isn't as many event Pokemon for North America as there is for the rest of the world?

Oh I have noticed all right and I am more than a bit ticked off about it. I thought all of this was gonna be changed when X\Y was released World Wide at the same time, I felt like they finally noticed how much the rest of the world was being left out on exclusives and what not, but alas no change has come and I fear nothing will ever be done as sad as this may be. Its like living on the dark side of the moon, we will never see the light.
