Reborn from the flames of glass and ash

I took it upon myself to one up my previous entries in this competition, and since the Faker's Marathon is about quantity of cards, I thought I'd put my ring in the hat for most entries ever. You may notice that I did not finish everything. That is because I didn't finish everything. Turns out 150 fakes is too much, even for me. I might have managed a smaller thing, and I will definitely do so next year. Anyway, without further ado: Presenting the Kaleidomarathon set:

Part of why I didn't finish everything I wanted to because this was originally an Image Faking entry. Here are the few I managed to finish:

Your Text-based entries are incomplete - most are missing "HP", "Evolves from", picture, and Pokedex info. Thus I'm not sure if the judge will accept them.
You can follow my example from last year In this thread
Otherwise awesome work!

Fixed those. I believe I hit 12 on the dot finishing the edit, so I'll leave it as is. (It was just the Porygon-Z that was unfinished at the bell, if @PMJ, Mr. Judge, cares.)

The marathon ends at 11:59:59, not 12:00, so your edits disqualify that post.

Everything you put in #showcase counts though.

I look forward to seeing this set completed. One piece of advice: Resistance on SV cards are "-30", and when a Pokémon does damage to itself, say it does 20 damage to itself for example, the effect would read "This Pokémon also does 20 damage to itself." Other than that, a good start to the set.

This is truly heartbreaking. Please, PMJ, consider how hard Kaleidophoenix worked and how close he was to being on time. He made 81 text fakes! That was hours and hours of work. Couldn’t you make an exception and not disqualify 90% of his work for being one minute late when he thought he was right on the dot? At the very least Kaleidophoenix’s efforts should be acknowledged in the closing message, since he made 60 text fakes more than Qman, who was officially credited with producing most of the text fakes of the event.

It is heartbreaking, but the OP is clear that the deadline is a hard limit and no late entries will be accepted. It has been like that every year. I'll add something to the thread, since that is fair.

Thanks for mentioning Kaleidophoenix, for understanding how it feels, and for suggesting that people give his set a look. I realize how important it is to stay consistent with the rules now that I’ve had some time to think. Hope you are doing well.

By the way, Kaleidophoenix, I thought your two Dwebble looked like they would be fun to play with, and I enjoyed visualizing how they would interact with each other.

Yeah, I have no hard feelings. I should've double checked if there was any specifications on the deadline and then acted accordingly.

I will be continuing this set, and so here are new cards! Featuring a new set symbol, to go with the new set.

Good catch on the Mamoswine. I'll fix that when I reach its line in the set. As for the -20 vs -30 resistance, I like -20 more in mid power card design, which you might notice these Pokémon are designed at, as opposed to the normal ultra high SV.
