So heres the thing:

Do imprison/thundershock markers get removed by evolving or benching the pokemon that has them?

Thnks

Ways to Remove Shock-wave and Imprison Markers From Your Pokémon
- Evolve it
- Devolve it
- Play Tropius δ and use its Poké-Power

That is it. No other way. Benching won't get rid of it.

No is correct. Shock-wave and Imprison markers are NOT Special Conditions.

The only way you could play a card and remove the markers is if the card specifically stated that you could remove Shock-wave and/or Imprison markers from your Pokémon.

Double Full Heal doesn't say that, so it won't work.

playing briney or super scoop would help too, but then you'd ave to rebuild whole the Pokémon again...

and indeed: benching doesn't help in this case...only special conditions disappear through this

To be honest I thought that evolving and devolving pokemon only cured them of special conditions, as stated int he rules, and shockwave markers as well as imprison markers are not. Or has this been proven in a cities game?

Evolving and devolving remove all Special Conditions and all other effects of attacks (like a smokescreen effect) on that Pokémon.

Shock-wave and Imprison markers are removed in this manner as well, and this is the only way to remove them other than Tropius δ.
