Halo 3 MP ranking problem

So here's the problem.

A few weeks ago, I got promoted from gunnery sergeant grade 2 to lieutenant grade 2. Once you reach the level of lieutenant, several things should be unlocked:

-the Vidmaster: Lightswitch achievement
-the Spartan Officer acievement
-the rogue helmet

So far, none of these things have been unlocked for me, and I think it has something to do with my field promotion. I would appreciate any answers and help that you guys can give me. Thanks!

Playlist EXP progression unlocks all of that now, im a captain grade 2 and i havent unlocked it so i happen to know thats what it is. Hope that helps
