Pokémon (16):
  • 1 Pheromosa GX (beatdown)
  • 3 Golisopod GX (beatdown)
  • 2 Tapu Lele GX (search)
  • 4 Wimpod (evolution)
  • 2 Tapu Koko (sniper)
  • 2 Fomantis (evolve)
  • 2 Lurantis (enable)
Trainer (32):
  • 4 Professor Sycamore (draw)
  • 3 Professor Kukui (draw)
  • 1 Bridgette (search)
  • 4 Guzma (control)
  • 3 N (draw)
  • 4 Choice Band (beatdown)
  • 3 Escape Rope (control)
  • 2 Field Blower (discard)
  • 1 Revitalizer (retrieval)
  • 4 Ultra Ball (search)
  • 3 Switch (control)
Energy (12):
  • 4 Double Colorless Energy
  • 8 Grass Energy

STRATEGY:

Start with either Wimpod, Pheromosa GX, or Tapu Koko and set up with Bridgette. Bench some more Wimpod and attack with Pheromosa GX. Next turn evolve into Golisopod GX and use First Impression. Evolve a second Wimpod to switch between two Golisopod GX and bench some Fomantis. Use Guzma and trainers to switch between attackers and clean with Pheromosa GX.

I think Hera is a wasted spot honestly. I think you'd be much better off running Altar of the Moone or Float Stone and Zoroark. I'd also consider Wally for potential turn one 190 damage when you go second. It's also a combo that won't rotate in September.

Hi CaptZero,

Thanks for the review. Zoroark is not needed at all since Guzma acts as Lysandre and also switches between Golisopod in this deck. Not entire sure on Wally since turn one Bridgette is on usual better for this deck to bench some Wimpod and Fomatis to evolve them next turn. The only cards in this deck that roate are Vs Seeker and the stadium card. Altar of the Moone is not worth it in this deck since it merely reduces the retreat cost by two if the retreating Pokémon has either aPsychic or Darkness Energy attached.

Hi folks,

Updated a more offensive Golisopod variant. The main idea is to swarm the opponent with Golisopod GX and use damage boosts to allow him to score ohkos with First Impression.
