Basic Starters

Right what are the best basic pokemon to start with at the beginning of the game

Castform for delta decks.
For another decks tauros or plusle.

For turn 2 decks, usually their best starter is the basic of the stage 1 pokemon to get in Turn 2.

Mawile (cg) is pretty much the glue that makes my current deck consistant. She's a great starter for non-Holon Engine decks.

Dunsparce(LM) because it can confuse the opponent, retreat & draw 2 cards....

Spinda maybe, and maybe Yanma.

The best for me would be Unown Variety. Useful, in many ways!

The best option is Torkoal LM who uses Cry for Help Fire.

To me, holon castform is still the best, you can draw with it and you can attach it as energy, too. And you can search with celio and mentor.

But it isn't that great for non-delta decks.

For Delta Decks, Holon's Castform is the way to go.

Those work. I myself favor Mawile and Dunsparce.

One starter I havn't seen listed yet is the new Mawile from Power Keepers. It has a decent 1st attack which lets you put pokemon on your bench and an awsome second attack which takes cards away from your opponets hand while dealing 20. This is an awsome anti-castform starter.

Mawile PK is one of the Best Starters Made IMO. Jirachi DX is one of the best DX-on non-Delta Starter IMO

Yea. Currently, CG Mawile is the next best thing if you can't get Holon's Castforms.

For Colourless, I think a decent starter would be Snubull as he can paralyze.

I use spinda its realy good
