BW/BW2 B/W Pokemon based on?

i think MUnna and Musharna are based off a pig tea set, like PLayerKing said. besides, a regular tapir doesnt release smoke out of its mouth or nose whatever etc. XD

Well, I looked into what Honchkrow said, and Baku (the tapir demons that eat dreams in japanse mythology) are sometimes depicted surrounded by smoke, or with smoke coming out of their nose.

The word Baku is used for both the demon as the Malaysian Tapir.

I'm almost certain it's a chipmunk. The pudgy cheeks and scouting position give it away, I'm afraid. But who knows ;o

The eagle is obviously based on Native Americans. The eagle was a very common symbol among them, and the fact that it has a headdress like a Native American chief solidifies this theory.

i thought that minezumi(forgot how 2 spell it) was a prairydog(again sorry for spelling) because they have designated look-outs and it just looks like one to me
