I'm guessing X and Y is the first letter of the Legendary's names too? Maybe?
I wonder if the X & Y have some meaning...chromosomes? Could the story relate to some Biological stuff? Hmm...

X and Y look absolutely stunning, I was completely choked up with manly tears watching that broadcast. Can't wait for October 2013. And speaking of the release date, I was hoping that the localization gap would be shortened to maybe a month or two, but to have it removed completely is a real treat. I'm so glad that I'll never have to wait ridiculous amounts of time for the Pokemon games to launch worldwide ever again.

I think...Fennekin is Fire/Psychic. They just uploaded a trailer on Pokémon's channel, and it looks like Fennekin uses some sort of Psychic-type attack.

Okay, so i assuming that the fire starter wont be fire/fighting lol the water starter looks like it will end up water/ground and the grass starter looks like it might stay the same.

This game looks pretty sweet. I dont really like the starters ill probaply pick the water one because he looks kinda cool

I think that the fire starter is also Psychic type... look at the trailer he is the only one to use another type move, that looks like psychic!

Just made an account. It's been long needed since I've been browsing the forums since 08. lol But anyways, I'm very fascinated with how this came out. I actually enjoyed the timeline sequence; it added so much effect for the finale. They did amazing with the graphics! Hopefully we'll see more in CoroCoro in the next couple of months. So I'm guessing we won't get much new pokemon news since Japan won't get it first? But regardless, this was pretty exciting! :D

I thought of that too. Hence new eeveelutions being introducted since Eevee has its genetic appeal. And also Kyurem and Genesect. Maybe their true forms will be revealed

The villain team will be genetic researchers trying to fuse common pokémon like Kyurem and Reshiram/Zekrom. Calling it

Dark and Grass main legends IMO.

The bird absolutely reminds me of Avion from shadow of the colossus <3<3<3<3

Weve had enough of the same old.

There is definitely DNA in the pokemon logo for X and Y... so I guess that's the theme

Wow, the graphics of the new games look really spectacular.

Wow! 6th Gen, 3D, 5 new Pokemon, simultaneous release worldwide - Gamefreak didn't exaggerate with their big news announcement.

Especially like a fire starter based on a fennec fox - and the red legendary Y-Pokemon. What a beast!

Was standing in the Eiffel Tower that Pikachu. About France, a part of Europe or ALL Europe? 4 different Gens to do the whole Europe. Calling it.

The battle system is going to be awesome seeing as how they perform the actual moves. The web Gym (bug gymleader). Worldwide! GF is thinking on every fan in the world.
