    Discussion Cards Rotating Out

I completely agree...I feel there is something big in the works for the next rotation come August. 1. Just looking at the new cards that are in SM1 and how the style of play appears to be more geared towards being slower (lots of stage 2 decks). 2. There is no indication of the "speedier"...

    Standard Primal Kyogre-EX Toolbox

No need to apologize! It happens to the best of us! Thanks for all of your feedback on the forum!

    Standard Primal Kyogre-EX Toolbox

I didn't think Pokémon Ranger worked for abilities. I thought it was only for effects of attacks like item lock from Seismitoad's Quaking punch attack, or Jolteon's Flash Ray attack, or Giritina's Chaos Wheel, etc.

P!P/Rules Championship Points, Regionals Prizes, European International Championships, and Worlds Invite Info!

I am very surprised at the increase in the junior division CP's...double from last year! Crazy! Not sure what to think of it right now, or if it's even achievable without going broke traveling to the Regionals around North America...up here in Canada we don't have many close to us to play in...

    Darkrai-EX / Giratina-EX / Garbodor

Does anyone have any ideas with the new Steam Siege set coming out how to fit a ranger and/or a ninja boy into the list? Not sure what could be cut to make them fit...or would they be too inconsistent for the deck?

Is a Pre-Release worth the Money?

I feel it depends on what why you want to attend the pre-release. If you are a collector or its just to be the first to get cards from the new set and play a friendly tournament...then it's worth it. If you are looking for specific cards from the new set, which is the boat I am in to build new...

Expanded Keldeo EX / Blastoise / Mewtwo EX

ipodninja, Unfortunately, if you get item locked and you are done. Until you break the lock, you cannot get a Blastoise out and are forced to manually power up you Keldeo and MewTwo...I would run at least 1 Wartutle. As well, fisherman is good to have...gets you 4 energy from your discard...

Standard The Haunting (Gengar / Crobat)

Yes, that is definitely a big downfall of this deck as well...however, it is difficult to find a good pairing Pokémon (that I can think of) to put in the deck other than Noivern or bats that can do consistent 30 damage quickly all over the board. I have tested Noivern a bit on PTCGO and it is a...

Expanded Magnetic MewTwo (M Mewtwo EX / Magnezone)

Ok..a deck I have been toying with and trying to see if I can make consistent enough and work… Pokemon: (16) 3 MewTwo EX (BTH) Photon Wave 1 MewTwo EX (LTR) 1 Lugia EX (AOR) 2 M MewTwo (BTH) Psychic Infinity 1 Hoopa EX 3-2-3 Magnezone (BTH) Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: (34) 3 Rare Candy 3...

Standard The Haunting (Gengar / Crobat)

I have been building a deck just like this...I found that having 2 lines of stage 2's to be very difficult to manage. I dropped the bats, scoop up's and AZ's from my deck, put in 3 Gengar EX and left me over 10 spaces for cards to help set up my Gengar's faster and more consistently. Gengar EX...

Discussion Best Stage 2 Deck Engine?

Awesome advice! I don't want to get into specific deck lists in this thread as it is best to go to the deck garage, but these are some excellent examples of some stage 2 engines! I have and will continue to test and make changes based on results from all of the suggestions... Thanks everyone!

Discussion Best Stage 2 Deck Engine?

Hey! Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated! I forgot about running octilllary as the previous deck I was running used Wobbuffet. Another mistake i made was trying to run a bat line along with the stage 2, so it ended up being way too many evolutions to work with, let alone the deck space...

Discussion Best Stage 2 Deck Engine?

Hi there, I am building a stage 2 deck and am having a hard time getting a quick, consistent deck engine built. I have tried the standard Sycamore, Birch/Shauna, ultraball, level ball, VS seeker, rare candy, etc. but just seemed to find myself sitting in the active position as a basic, with...

    Standard Pikachu EX / Magnezone

Have you tried running the special lightening energy, flash energy? It makes it so that the Pokémon it is attached to has no weakness...good for matches against fighting decks as long as they aren't running enhanced hammers, Xerosic, Team Flare Grunt, etc. Unfortunately, it can't be used with...

    Standard Gengar EX

I made a Gengar EX deck for my son to play in tournaments last year with almost the same list as the OP (less a few cards that weren't released yet) and found it to be quite inconsistent and clunky. He has now moved on to a different deck and my youngest son is now playing the Gengar deck, but...
