Thankfully I was unaffected (I live on the western coast of the US), but I know a few people who were - one of them is a very close friend of mine. It's pretty gnarly.
Over here we're just getting Santa Ana Winds instead (which are...basically like desert winds - hot and irritating).

It's actually nighttime right now - 11.15pm as of when I write this.

My holiday ends at the end of this week and I'm looking forward to school as well since I don't want my brain to go dry.

HoOhLugia, it's a fighting game, actually. If you haven't heard of it, odds are you won't unless someone tells you about it - that's how I found out.
I'm not a fan of fighting game engines myself, but the plot is great.

HoOhLugia, my area doesn't get snow, so there's no snowman building unfortunately. We don't have a tree either - we used to, but it wore down with age and we finally had to get rid of it. Ornaments were usually arranged either by color or by size.

It's gotten a little warmer than it has been this month, but nothing unexpected for my area. As far as climate goes, it seems like it'll be Christmas as usual.

On Tuesday my church has its yearly Christmas Eve service (at least, I assume it's on Tuesday), so I have that to look forward to.

HoOhLugia, how do I know? I have been asking feedback from several people (roughly a dozen) on what there is to offer in X/Y - what is different, what is the same, what the interface is like, and so on, and so on. I'm very detailed in my questions so I want to make sure that I'm getting completely accurate information.

And, based on what I have heard, it honestly does not seem worth it as a Pokemon game. I would not be willing to spend $40 +tax (the normal street price) on the game; if anything, I value it at half that. It may be a Pokemon game, but that doesn't guarantee it being good. There is a lot holding it back, preventing it from being amazing.

HoOhLugia, it all depends on what one is looking for in the game, honestly. I look for things such as plot, music, and interface, among others. X/Y is no good at any of them.

HoOhLugia, that's an interesting rhyme of your team line-up you have there.

Why would you wish I had X or Y? From what I've heard it isn't that good of a game overall...
