Special Lugia Distribution for 21st Movie Ticket Preorders

CoroCoro has revealed that those in Japan who preorder tickets to Everyone’s Story, the 21st Pokemon movie, will receive a Level 100 Lugia via serial code distribution. Preorders will start April 13th and end July 12th (the day before the movie premieres).

The Lugia has its Hidden Ability Multiscale and the moves Aeroblast, Hurricane, Defog, and Tailwind. Lugia can’t normally learn Hurricane. Its Original Trainer is Fura City, the name of the city featured in the 21st movie.

The magazine mentions Lugia is nicknamed the “Wind Lugia,” which makes sense since the movie takes place in a city with a wind festival. This Lugia will obviously be different than the one from the second movie.

It probably is about the Detective Pikachu game, regarding the images

Prefer Aeroblast for the way better accuracy, but Hurricane is stronger and can hit multiple.

Hurricane? Wow! #LugiaForRainTeams. Since Lugia can learn Rain Dance and Thunder it make sense. Just bring your own Pelipper.

If you were worried how US will get this, we have the Year of the Legendary Pokemon giveaway where Lugia is given away in November, timing for the showing of M21 in US. Or just get that event Lugia via GTS if someone has a generous heart of doing it. Someone also do cloning to giveaway to players

Maybe this time the movie won't mislead kids to believe that Lugia is a water type Pokemon...

Honestly hoping that the Legendary giveaways that TPCi have been doing this year means that VGC 2019 will be another format with the banned Legendaries avaliable. Might even be interesting now that Dark Void is banned.

Too bad Lucia isn't VGC legal. Multiscale and Tailwind are good. Then again, doesn't Dragonite get tailwind? Or Milotic? It's been a while since I've played any VGC.

It doesn’t really help too when it even has a few water type cards in the TCG haha

It's like they legitimately forgot what type Lugia was during the HGSS block.
