First Product Images of ‘Magearna / Volcanion Mythical Collections’

As posted last month, new Volcanion and Magearna “Mythical Collection Deluxe Boxes” will be released in stores on January 6th for $23.99. Both collections will feature the unreleased cards from Japan’s CP5 Mythical / Legendary Dream Holo Collection.

Each box comes with…

  • A full-art foil promo card featuring Volcanion or MagearnaVolcanion Magearna Mythical Collections
  • In the Volcanion Mythical Collection, you’ll get five more foil promos: Celebi, Jirachi, Darkrai, Victini, and Keldeo
  • In the Magearna Mythical Collection, you’ll get six more foil promos: Mew, Manaphy, Shaymin, Arceus, Genesect, and Meloetta
  • 5 Pokemon TCG booster packs
  • A PTCGO code card

Poor Manaphy isn’t on display for Magearna’s collection. This is because these boxes feature an unequal number of promo cards and TPCi probably doesn’t want fans to think they’re being jipped by getting one less promo in the Volcanion collection. So instead fans will just be surprised when they get an extra Manaphy in the Magearna collection.
