This is our coverage of Pokemon X and Y. The following bullet points are in reverse chronological order.

• Upon leaving your house, your male or female counterpart takes you to to meet Tierno, Trevor, and Shauna.
• You then select your starter. Chespin, Fennekin, or Froakie.
• You battle Shauna after selecting your starter. She has the Pokemon you’re strong against.
• You return to your home and your mom says she has received a letter from Prof. Sycamore. She then gives you the Town Map to take with you on your journey.
