Card of the Day: Zebstrika

Its safe to say that this is the best Zebstrika out there in a raw tournament! Disconnect Trainer Lock's your opponent, which as we've seen in The Truth, and Gothitelle decks can be a very strong power! You'll be shutting down Balls, Tools, Pluspowers, and Rare Candys! Stuff like that is the reason that stage 2 decks NEED at least one copy of the Stage 1.

The second attack, Lightening Crash is juuuust below fantastic at 80 power (90's somewhat of a magic number, able to 2HKO EX's), but the snipe can be quite valuable in knocking out some low HP benchsitter using an Ability, or you can even Catcher up some Pokemon with a heavy retreat and litte Energy and start sniping at the bench for a cheeky way to get prizes!

The bad news is indeed pretty bad though, as Zebtrika has a paltry HP of 90, which is what most attackers can deal easily these days. Free Retreat is excellent as far as retreating is concerned, but with low HP like that, I don't think you'll get to take advantage of it much.

The attempt at combining SPs. Dialga G's lock. Garchomp C's snipe. Luxray GL's type and retreat. lol

Good card, but it isn't good in this metagame. Its just too weak. It gets mauled by Zekroms.
