Zangoose's first attack says to switch the defending pokemon with one of your opponent's benched pokemon and that it does 20 damage to the new defending pokemon. I am assuming that if the opponent does not have any benched pokemon this attack does nothing...am I right?

The attack does nothing as the conditions that are required to do damage aren't met.

alright thanks I was just a little confused because most of the time they say stuff like if the opponent has no benched pokemon this attack does nothing
