Second off, this is a theory on the release of DPt1 outside of Japan.
Now, This may've been thought of already, but I thought posting it would get some discussion about it. It's kind of long, and probably wrong, but bear with me.
Okay, no onto the theory.
I thought about this as soon as I heard that Japan's DPt2 was being released in December. I found it strange that it comes out two months and a half after DPt1's release as stated on the front page. Then I thought about how 5 cards from IFDS were removed from Stormfront since they were related to the 11th movie, kind of like how Darkrai, Palkia, and Dialga were removed from our DP3 and put in our DP4.
Since movie 11 isn't out, said 5 cards from IFDS were pulled until the movie is released in the US. Since the movie could come out anytime between December through May, most likely sometime later between April and May, the cards wouldn't see light in the English game until that late as well.
So I looked at Galactic's Conquest and realized something else. If it was US's DPt1, they'd more than likely remove Palkia G, Palkia G LV X, Giratina Origin Forme, Giratina Origin Forme LV X, Dialga G, Dialga G LV X, Shaymin Sky Forme, Shaymin Sky Forme LV X. Adding together the Shaymin Land Forme, Shaymin Land Forme LV X, Dialga, and Giratina removed from IFDS, that's a lot of cards, right?
Then I remembered reading somewhere that PUSA switched 2 EX sets because some sets relate to movies released during that year, and they wanted to set to coincide with the release of the movie. So then I thought, "Maybe they'll give us Japan's DPt2 and release their DPt1 after 'Giratina and the Sky Warrior'." It wouldn't make much sense taking all those cards from these sets and drag them to DPt2 since that would only give us 1 or 2 LV Xs for DPt1.
Oh, and about the cards from Galactic's Conquest I said might be removed? It's because of the Lost Zone effect. It hasn't been released in the US, and since it's slightly linked to the movie, they wouldn't release it. Plus, they may want to release a multitude of Lost Zone cards at the same time rather than one.[/rant]
