hey guys, well i really wanted to use crobat in a deck despite it really not being the greatest card. and this is what i came up with.

pokemon 24

3-2-3 crobat prime
4-4 yanmega prime
4 cleffa
2-2 hypno

trainers/supporters 28

4 judge
4 copycat
4 dual ball
3 collector
3 rare candy
3 pokemon communication
3 elms training method
4 pokemon reversal

energy 8

4 rescue
4 psychic

both attackers and the starter have free retreat so it makes it easy to move around as i please. such as poisioning one turn, then using yanmega for the finisher next turn. also hypno is added in to help me out against large hp pokemon who hit hard. because lets face it, this deck is clearly not going to be 1 shotting anyone.

what i have encountered while testing is that this deck is very consistant and quick, yanmega is a great pokemon for early game. sometimes getting the psychic energy for crobat is a hastle. also zekrom destroys me, i am 0-6 against it lol though i have put up a good fight against reshiboar. (dont know actual record) have yet to test against magneboar, but i assume it would go poorly. and have found to have a good matchup against most other decks i have played.

so ive told you alot of information, anything you could contribute back to me would be very helpful in my quest for a crobat deck.

thanks.

RE: Yanmega/crobat

Some obvious information, but the reason that you lose 0-6 against Zekrom is because you're 100% weak to lighting. And, as you asume, you won't go well against Magneboar. Nevermind, you need a lighting counter ASAP.

-4 Dual Ball
-1 Rare Candy (with 2 you will be fine)
-4 Pokémon Reversal (IMO, it's too flippy)

+3 Throh (since Donphan damages the bench. Throh can do 160 to lighting pokémon. You can sacrifice one Yanmega Prime to build this guy)
+6 Fighting Energy

I think with that you will be able to counter your lighting weakness. Hope it helped.

RE: Yanmega/crobat

i like the throh idea, though i do like my dual balls (for starting consistancy) also my reversals for possible easy prizes.

RE: Yanmega/crobat

Yeah, you can take or leave the suggestion xD maybe you find another cards less aseful and change them. Nevermind, you really need a lighting counter, so I recomend you to look which cards from your decklist are less useful and change it for the Throh counter.

Glad it helped :)
