Strategy:

Everyone knows how Rayquaza Colorless works. trying to experiment with a new build that can consistently T1 / T2 Mega Rayquaza with a Fire + DCE. However, it's very inconsistent. In case you don't know. Burn through your deck to get Rayquaza, Mega Rayquaza, Spirit Link, Sky Field, and a DCE. Get fire energy in your grave (opposing stadiums like scorched earth is why I use fire energy), Mega turbo for emerald break all while filling your bench with shaymin, rayquaza, altaria.

If this is short and seems rushed sorry. Didn't have much time to type this up

If going along this route is a bad idea, what other Rayquaza variants are better?

Inconsistent in what way? Draw power or setting up?

So here is what I feel you should drop.

- 3 Shauna
- 2 Trainer's Mail
- 1 Sky Field
- 2 Shaymin-EX
- 2 Mega Turbo

Instead you should add this.

+2 Prof. Birch
+2 AZ
+ 1:1 Line of Raichu
+2 Sacred Torch
+1 Lugia-Ex (AOR)
+1 Energy Retrieval

Shauna is a decent draw power card but in the long run, Birch will gain you more cards often than not on average. Having so many Shaymin-Ex's can be very bad for your strategy and could hit a devastating blow against you for two easy prizes for it's low HP. Even though you need as many Pokémon on the field as possible, instead run a 2:2 line of Raichu and a Lugia-Ex from the next Ancient Origins set. That's why you'll want to run AZ with Shaymin to keep abusing draw power and since you're running 3 VS Seeker's, you should be fine.

Trainer's Mail is a good card, but if you run Sacred Torches since you are trying to discard fire energy, just run Sacred Torches to try and speed things up that way potentially and is a sure way of drawing. You probably only need to run three Sky Fields because I doubt many people will run more than two fields anyways. Lastly, you shouldn't rely on Mega Turbo as much either. Instead run only one with an Energy Retrieval so that way incase your main attacker is a Raichu or Lugia-Ex you can simply just slap an energy on it and get ready.
