World of Goo is hands down one of the most highly anticipated and most hyped WiiWare games yet, and for good reason. This physics-based puzzler was only made by three people, but you'd think this game was made by Nintendo, not indie-developer 2D Boy. The graphics, sound, and presentation is astounding, and the game is a perfect fit for WiiWare.

The game is based off a simple premise but greatly expands on it. As such, manuevering gluey balls to a goal shouldn't be much fun on the outside, but once you see the game in motion and stumped on a particular puzzle, the game is suprisingly deep. Especially shown of this, there are plenty of levels packed, surely worth your money. The controls are also very fluid, as you can control the camera very simply.

So, that's basically all there is to say on the outset. There's only one more thing to say though: Go get 1500 Wii Points (really, don't complain about the price), make room in your storage, and download this game on Monday when it's officially released on WiiWare. This way, we can get more polished games like this on WiiWare if you support it deservedly so. I, for one, have looked forward to this kind of game forever.

Well, referring to other sources, the physics in this kind of game is applied to the balls of goo. For instance, if you build a tower without a proper foundation, expect your goo balls to fall down. Collison detection is also used in some later levels. This can also be used for bridges and means of transporting the balls to your destination. Gravity is also a main function of the realistic physics applied. I think that will throughly answer how physics are in this game.

You mean it has a robust physics engine like lots of games (Half-Life for example). I guess my Adv. Physics book is all the physics fun I'm going to get. :[ *sniff*
 
Dude, this is about as much physics you're going to get in a WiiWare game, and I'm pretty sure it's bare none to Boom Blox. Those are the only really good physics-based games on the Wii. So, if you don't know much about advanced physics, or even physics for that matter, I highly recommend you try out this game and even Boom Blox to get a better idea. Don't complain about what the game has to offer GODZILLA. :[

I don't think it's that random. I do agree, it's a strange visual style, but I think it's very appropriate.

It seems to me (by your persuasion and my observation) that this game is a fun and addictive game. Too bad WiiWare (aka Wii Shop Channel) service is not given to Wiis in South-East Asia (where I'm from). This game could be well worth my moolah... :(
 
Oh most definately. I agree, Nintendo in general needs to support some of the overseas. We've seen it all with Pokemon. :[

Anyways, onto some good happy news. IT'S OUT FINALLY. :DDDDDDDD I'm like super-mega-excite-hyped for this. I will download it in a few hours, and then I will kiss it good night. :]
