If theres one thing i hate its the new ds lite i mean whats the point the ds has already sold millions of units nobody in my school has bought it they hate it too its a waste of money the origanal ds screen is bigger anyway so why have they made it smaller and im pre-ordering a ps3 and if they bring out a new version of that ill really get mad so tell me what you think about the new ds lite!
 
I have one. Its great! Even have cover to protect gameboyadvance game pak area from getting dirty. Highly recommended FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT already have the original DS.
 
ah, ok, but I am saying that for those who do not already have one, its better to buy lite than normal. If you have normal long time ago, then heck use it! I buy DS Lite bcoz I dont already have one.
 
How does the DS hook up to the Wii also can you do link battles on the gamecube with a DS.
 
i like it, but i wont' buy it. it just has a brighter screen and that's really all. i'm not going to waste $130 dollars on something that has a brighter screen than my original ds. no, but i do like it.

I don't have original DS and will get DS Lite this August...
I want the Black edition, but too bad, hard to find one here...
guess the white one is fine...

I don't think you'll ever get a fair answer to that question, there's always going to be bias somewhere.

The DS will cost you a lot less money than a PS3, I can tell you that much. I haven't bought too many games for the DS, but I've been somewhat disappointed in the ones I did buy, since they have little to no replay value (Mario Kart DS excluded).

And I love the DS lite. They should be called DS 1337, cause that's what they are. It has a much brighter screen (not to mention it has four levels of brightness to conserve power, more vivid colors, a thicker stylus (good for people with man hands like me) and it's got better protection against dust and the like than the normal DS. I plan on getting one, even though I've got a normal DS already.

First, don't buy the PSP. It's closer to an Ipod Video than a system.
Second:
DS:
Pros:
Touch Screen provides intuitive control.
Technically a larger screen space then the PSP.
Microphone provides several new game ideas.
Can play GBA games.
Has an amazing game library (New Super Mario Bros., Metroid Prime Hunters, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Nintendogs, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, Mario Kart DS, Sonic Rush, among others.)
Has Wi-Fi.
Cons:
Weaker than the PSP.
Has no true analog.
Can't use a GBA link cable.

PSP:
Pros:
Stronger than the DS.
Has true analog.
Multimedia.
Big screen.
Cons:
Bad game library.
Analog Nub doesn't work too well.
Screen scratches easily.
Storage is pricey and small.
UMD movies lack special features- and cost more then DVDs.
Buttons break easily.
SYSTEM breaks easily.
Doesn't work as well as an Ipod Video.

Not realy!!!
My friends PSP fell quiet few on the ground and it is steel working normal without problems
err... The DS T. Screen can get scratches faster then PSP
