Pokemon Which Pokemon Generation was the best?

I was wondering wich Pokémon gen. was the best till now!!!
BTW: In the poll I didn't mean just those three PKMNs but whole gen.

Imo, the Metal generation was the best. It had a very classic feel to it, and still it was new. I dunno, Crystal was just my favorite game, plus it was my first encounter with pokemom.

Except it wasn't my first journey into the world of pokemon

My first journey into the world of pokemon was in Kindergarten,wen my mom & i drove up to a KFC for some mac & cheese & insted came home with a cute little Vulpix plushie:D
 
I think it's a tie between the first and third... the second had WAY too many damn baby pokemon, and there weren't alot of great pokemon in there to be honest.

I like the first becuase... well, its where it all started. The third just felt totally different from the other two, but in a good way.
 
I loved the kanto generation because it was the best one and it was the on the that had gotta catch em all pokemon and we all live in a pokemon world and I will never forget that as long as I live.:)
 
I like the 1st generation. Although I like the 3rd generation you can tell they are low on ideas. I know they may have different moves and stuff but seviper is like ekans and beautifly is like butterfree... and there are others too. But I like the 3rd gen cos of swablu and altaria! yay!
 
well, actually i like all, all of them made pokemons pokemon

1st : charizard is always most pwrful / expensive card, lots of good stuffs here, mew, dragonite, ditto, exeggutor.....

2nd: they have tyranitar here!

3rd : lots of good pkms and lengedary pkms ( regi's, lati@s, kyogre-groudon, rayquaza-doexys, jirachi.....) have u ever seen a generation with so much legendaries??
 
Whoa, I thought everyone hated the third gen... guess not :D

Third gen has Dusclops and metagross, nuff said.

The 3rd generation was awesome but the 1st one was the best and hardcore fans and regular fans know why. The catchy phrases. Gotta catch em all and We all live in a pokemon world.:)
 
The third generation because of Swampert, Slaking, the Regi's and others but the second has some very good Pokemon, Tyranitar, Lugia, BLISSEY! And also the first because of Mewtwo, Mew, Aerodactyl, SNORLAX. It's very hard to decide but they're all awesome.
 
....Without a doubt, the first gen. Sorry, but mewtwo and the birds pwn anything and everything else Nintendo has added to both of the other gens....Blastiose is the best starter off all time...not because hes wickedly strong, but because hes a GIANT TURTLE WITH FREAKIN' PUMPS IN ITS SHELL....how can you not love the coolness? And, on top of all that, it got all started....without the first gen being as cool as it was, I guarentee the game would be pretty much non-existant and the 3rd gen wouldn't even exist (2nd would, but it would just be laughed at). In conclusion, anyone who doesn't like the first gen as the best must've not started pokemon at the beginning...

I like alll of them but since 1 has Charzard Gen1
