I'm no longer trying to decide which deck to use. I've made a decision and it's Gengar DP. I've also figured out to pair him up with Dusknoir, and have finally figured out which. Now the question is what should my T/S/S line be like to maximize effectiveness of this deck. That is: spread a bit of damage whilst setting up Dusknoir. Fight with Dusky till it dies, make it a stadium, then use Gengar DP(the focal point of this deck) to auto KO upon heads flip, between turns.

If you want to play in tournaments, you can't use the Gengar DP. It's been rotated.

Instead of going with spread with Gengar use it with Skuntank G and Gallade E4 with his first attack.Gengar DP spread is kind of weak and with Nidoqueen still around spread is really not a good play.

Combo Gengar with either Dusknoir X, Ampharos SW, Skuntank G, something like that. If you flip heads, auto KO :p Also, Altaria will not be nearly as fun, as you have to use Midnight eyes in order to get a KO.

Also, Metagross is a really fun deck IMO. The LA one, run it with Reversals, do 100 damage to anything.

I KNEW i joined Team Rogue for a reason! We are of like minds! Already have aforemetioned Metagross deck. Should/will post soon. I was begining to think that i should just forget about Altaria, like you said for the very same reason. As I type this I'm still trying to figure out the best Gengar DP approach. Ampharos SW won't really guarentee a KO, though. If they know that when they play a supporter that they'll take a damage counter, AND know that Gengar is around, they should be smart enough to avoid it. Skuntank G also poisons me(unless I have Skuntank active that is) so I don't think that's the best solution.
Now we come to Dusky X. It's been suggested by 2 other people, so I'm most likely to use him, though I'm not exactly sure in what capacity other than to have him die and become a stadium for autodeath between turns. BTW, I'm running a 4-3-3-1 Gengar line.
Also, what Dusknoir should I run? I'm really leaning toward DP as well because I already have 2 copies. So unless i get overwhelming imput that says that SF is infinately better, i'll probably run that one.
The one nice thing i see about SF is that Shadow Command both helps me and slowly kills off Dusknoir, speeding up the process.

Look at Gengar's Second Attack though. After Poison Structure, use it. But I thought it was like Cursed Drops, with only two energy, so NVM.

For Dusknoir, when I ran the deck, I didn't use Dusknoir DP because I didn't have it. See, there's so many that you can use, all of them are viable, but I'd use one SF with Shadow Command and one DP. Also, Gallade SW is the same thing, maybe run that instead?

"Sonic Blade" doesn't bring them near as close to death that Gengar does, though it is less flippy. However, i do possess (i believe) 2 copies of said Gallade. So i suppose i could try it if i ever get the deck built.

I would run spiritombs with this, and a 4-3-2/1-1 dusknoir with 2 SF #1 and 1 DP, and a 2-2-2 gengar DP, since it's just a late game attacker. Dusknoir is really a much better attacker, and once you get it out as a stadium, you can bring up gengar.

Hm. I was gonna use 2 DP and 1 SF # 17, actually. I love DP because after my first Dusky eats it, whilst i'm spamming Life Drain, i could use Dusky #2's Poke Power to get rid of unwanted Pokemon on my opponents bench. Just the threat of Dark Palm would most likely keep my opponents bench at 3 or less. What would be the strategy's with the Dusknoirs being the main attacker? The way I was originally going to do the deck, I'd set up Gengar/Dusknoir, and have Dusknoir eat it. Then, spam Life Drain for auto KO between turns. I'll also most likely run Unown G.

I've got a rough deck idea...here it is:
PokeyManz: 24
2-2-2-1 Gengar DP
3-2-3-1 Dusknoir(Duskull SW, Dusclops DP, 2 Dusknoir DP/1 SF #17)
2-2 Claydol
2 Spiritomb
1 Unown G
1 Unown Q

T/S/S:
3 TGW
3 Roseanne's
3 Bebe's
1 Palmers
2 Switch
3 Communication
1 Lux Ball

...something like that.

If you're doing spreading, you NEED Solrock from Triumphant for the Heal Block. Otherwise SP will just be using Garchomp C, and most other decks can cope with the damage anyways.

Also worth a try is Bronzong from SF.

Heal Block is definately something i'll consider, but Bronzong just seems overkill to me. Just for the record, i really don't want to use too many new cards because this is just supposted to be more of a throwback fun deck. Attempting to use DP-MD cards. Will probably use some new, but yeah.

Also, are you trying to stick to a certain format, like HP-MD or DP-UL? If not, then why not use stuff like Computer Search?

I've heard of that card, and have no problem using it. However, I've no idea what it does and don't have any copies in my possession currently. But yes, the "format" is from Arceus back. Sorta trying to stick to early DP, but it's not that huge of a deal. Just know that's it's obviously going to be an Unlimited deck, so nobody better tell me that "X card is illegal." :p

Completely different deck idea than what i'm trying to put together here, but that does sound like it'd be an awesome mill deck!
