What is it with Dusknoir?

Why is Dusknoir so great I played a version of it recently and obliterated it.
Also I have many complaints about it, and here they are.
-The attacks do low damage unless you put Dusknoir at risk with a lot of damage
-The fact that there are so many stadiums right now weaken its power to a possible cripple
-It doesn't have the best retreat cost
-It'll have a lot with Darkrai decks if they return (which I'm sure it will)

I will admit It's good, but it's still not deck focus material, only support material like it was before, and it'll probably stay there.

It just has lots of potential to be something great. Until it happens people are going to keep trying, also Dusknoirs just a cool pokemon.

Ya I will play Gengar/Dusknoir and that is a great combo trust me it will be good but how will Darkari com back and with what cards?

^He won't. He was too slow last format to stand a chance in the metagame, and he definitely will be now.
Dusknoir is good because it's versatile. It can be your draw engine early-game, converting to a sniper and counterstadium/spreader whenever needed. This way, he can combo with so many decks out there, it's scary.
