Ruling What does Shaymin Lv X's Body do? (Land Form)

Thankfullness ~ Each of you grass pokemon (excluding any Shaymin) gets +40 HP. You can't use more than 1 Thankfullness Poke-Body each turn.

Does it heal 40 HP? Or does it add 40 to the base HP?
 
each pokemon gets +40HP added on to there base HP E.G Leafeon lvX has 110 HP, with Shaymin lvX out Leafeon lvX's max HP is now 150
 
It says you can only use 1 per turn so could you use it again the next turn so Leafeon X has 190?
 
No, it's talking about if you had two Shaymin Lv.Xs out, it wouldn't add +80. It would reset the next turn and you would only do +40.

Actually the effect is constant, it is not reset. The only reason it says you can't use more than one Thankfulness poke-body each turn was to prevent stacking.
 
The body kicks in automatically, right? But does the effect apply all the way thru from one turn to the other, or does it end when I end my turn? o.o
 
Like my friend dragonexpert said, poke-bodies are constant, so they last all the time(including in between turns).
 
Shaymin surely does cause a lot of confusion huh? Anyway, this is all it does:

~It ups the base HP of all your Grass Pokemon by 40. (Like said before, Leafeon X goes from 110 to 150)
~This effect works at all times, as long as Shaymin X is in play
~You cannot add more HP with more Shaymin X in play, hence the "only one" stipulation

That's really all there is to it.
