It just occurred to me today in light of the leak of mega sceptile in bandit ring that we have been told of every ex in bandit except the last one?? There are 11 RR's in bandit ring and we have been shown each and every one except the 11th!! Why?? Why hold out on the last one after revealing the first 10?? Whats with all the secrecy hahaha
could they be holding out on us and waiting to reveal somthing awesome , like perhaps arceus being our 11th ex in this set??
What do you guys think??

For some reason if they ever release an Arceus I would think it would be the main card in its own set. I do think the last EX will be a card that would accompany/star in the Japanese theme deck and/or be the same type as one of the other EXs (probs mega) in the set like what is trending in other sets. In this case, I think that the EX will either be an Electric, Grass or Dark type; a card that can take advantage of its specialised support. I've noticed that there is often a non-mega OU Pokemon or a non-Legend Ubers included in the set (see spoiler), and Ancient Origins is missing this.

XY - Skarmory
Flashfire - Magnezone
Furious Fists - Dragonite
Phantom Forces - Aegislash (Ubers)
Primal Clash - None other than Gardevoir, but this set is special :U
Roaring Skies - Thundurus

If the card is [L], I'm predicting either Luxray, Zapdos or Raichu. The former seems like such a cool Pokemon to get an EX, and would be a good tribute to LuxChomp. Zapdos is popular in the OU tier of the VG, while Raichu is common receiver of LvX or ex treatment in the past.

If [G], I'm thinking Gourgiest, Shiftry or Cacturne. Gourgiest due to Trevenant-EX, while both Shiftry and Cacturne seem like the type of character for the darker theme of the Ancient Origins set. Ferrothorn may also be a candidate due to its OU prominence.

If [D], I'm predicting Zoroark or Bisharp. Zoroark due to its popularity, while Bisharp with its Steel typing seems to fit well with the Ancient theme, not to mention the Pokemon is a popular OU Pokemon.

Other OU Pokemon that jumps out to me are Starmie (though is traditionally weak so IDRK) and Manaphy (Guardian of the Sea [Crown]).

Why don't you count Machamp EX like the "weird EX" of the collection? Think about it:

Legends EX? Of course, is Hoopa set and its rings.
Sceptile EX/Mega and Ampharos EX/Mega? Of course, they are the 2 Megas of the set.
Togekiss EX and Emboar EX? Yes, they are weird but, they come with the "typical" japanese deck, that later comes in our "Ancient Origins".
So...Machamp EX doesn't have any connection with the set. Machamp EX is the "weird EX" of the set.

So...Only one....M Sceptile EX Dragon maybe? It can be...

I don't think Togekiss and Emboar are in the Japanese set and you are missing Lugia-EX and Kyurem-EX. Whenever two of the same type of Mega are made there is always two EXs the Mega can evolve from it.

The only type not represented in this set is steel type
fire and fairy being the togekiss ex vs emboar ex deck that accompany the set. They have represented every type but steel so maybe we will see a steel type pokemon take the 11th ex spot?? I dont know , but the fact that they held off from showing us the last ex should tell us somthing about what poke it is!!

Togekiss and Emboar have no guarantee to be in the set. They could be Japanese exclusive for all we know. Also, the types are rarely spread through EXs, in fact more often than not there is double ups on one of the promoted types.

Im strictly talking about bandit ring right now , not our english equivalent , ancient origins.
the deck releasing along side bandit in japan is emboar ex vs togekiss ex effectively completing all typings except for steel.
there is a pokemon representing every type in this set but steel. So far we have no 2 pokemon ex that are the same type , hence my reasoning behind the steel type theory.

Hydreigon and [N] Rayquaza, Shaymin and [C] Rayquaza, Wailord and Primal Kyogre, Aegislash and Dialga... the list goes on.

Togekiss EX and Emboar will be in our "Ancient Origins" like Aegislash EX and Dialga EX in "Phantom Forces". Kyurem and Lugia were included in "Legends EX" so i didn't forget.

So we have: Sceptile EX, M Sceptile EX, Emboar EX, Kyurem EX, Ampharos EX, M Ampharos EX, Machamp EX, Tyranitar EX, M Tyranitar EX, Hoopa EX and Lugia EX.

I think there is 11 EX for our set. Or...the fact is that in "Bandit Ring" will be 11 EX?? Because if it is like this there are two EX that we don't know (because Emboar EX and Togekiss EX aren't included in the japanese set)

Except in this case, the Mega adds a type that the EX doesn't have. Sceptile is only grass. It makes about as much sense to have two Megas for him, one for each of his types. Don't rule it out.

Actually two types of Sceptile EX, one grass and the other dragon, makes a certain amount of sense. Except for Arceus and Tyrunt we now have (or will have in the case of Tyrantrum via the EX box later this year) every Pokémon with a dragon typing, bar the unrevealed at all Mega Ampharos, has been done at least once. Also, having two of those (either Sceptile or Ampharos actually) make as much sense as two megas for Rayquaza and we got that.

Yes, Japan will get Togekiss EX and Emboar EX in a separate deck. Now it's highly unlikely that we'll get these two EX's the same way. Refer to the Diagla EX and Aegislash EX that were placed into Phantom Forces from Japan's Hyper Metal Deck, as well as the Combustion Wing Charizard EX and the M. Charizard (Y) EX that we got in Flashfire because of that deck Japan got with their release. It's true though that we don't really know if the 11 EX thing is simply for Bandit Ring or if it applies to Ancient Origins too. Refer to this announcement http://www.pokebeach.com/tcg/bandit-ring and this seems to be the current list of EX Pokémon for both sets.

1) Machamp EX (fighting)
2) Hoopa EX (psychic)
3) Lugia EX (colorless)
4) Kyurem EX (water)
5) Sceptile EX (grass)
6) M. Sceptile EX (grass)
7) Tyranitar EX (Dark)
8) M. Tyranitar EX (Dark)
9) Ampharos EX (Electric, what else would it be o_O)
10) M. Ampharos EX (unknown, probably electric)

I think it's likely M. Ampharos is electric myself. In theory everything is represented except fire, dragon, steel and fairy if they choose to go that route of which we can't prove. I would also like to point out that we don't know the types of either Emboar EX or Togekiss EX. While I would say they are likely fire and fairy, they could be fighting and colorless (flying) respectively as well.

Of course none of that really gives us a clue on what the 11th Bandit Ring EX will be. It could be almost anything. I would kind of hope for a Suicune EX, even though we might already have one EX water type already. If not, perhaps Wigglytuff or Clefable EX...

Oh, totally agree. I want a Sylveon EX. It needs to be special,

Vaporeon had an EX and a shiny.
Flareon had an EX and a shiny.
Jolteon had an EX and a shiny.
Espeon had an EX, a shiny and a prime.
Umbreon had an EX, a shiny and a prime.
Leafeon had a Lv. X.
Glaceon had a Lv. X.

Sylveon needs to join that rank on some level.

Furious Fists: 7 EX
113 cards

Phantom Forces: 8 EX
122 cards

Primal Clash: 12 EX
164 cards

Roaring Skies: 11 EX
110 cards

Ancient Origins: 12 EX+???
110 cards (more or less) + ??? (Legendary Set as Radiant Collection)

I think it will only 12 EX, because Primal Clash is the best EX headache and it has 164, not 110 and i think 12 EX for a 110 Set is pretty well (for their wallets but not for us).

It's been confirmed that Bandit Ring will be 11 EX Pokemon in Japan, and the Legendary Holo Collection adds two more. If the Legendary Holo Collection gets rolled into AOR then it'll be 13 EX in total, if it's more of a Double Crisis dealy there will be 11 EXs in AOR.

OMG! Our "Ancient Origins" are going to have 11+2 (Deck)+2(Legendary Set)= 14 EX

Rhesis, we have no evidence that the Legendary set will be incorporated into Ancient Origins. though I also concede we have no evidence it won't be either. Given the existence of both Dragon's Vault and Double Crisis, especially the latter being a very recent mini set, it's just as likely that the Legendary mini set will follow that precedent and hence be independent of Ancient Origins.
