Ruling What comes first Poisen or Heal?

the defending Pokemon has 10 HP left and is poisoned but opponent has Nidoqueen benched.

my question is does the poison go 1st and kill it?
or does it get negated or something by Nidoqueen?

It is actually the player's choice. But it doesn't matter since all effects must be done before you check for KO's.

No, both effects are applied before you check for KOs, meaning they would not be KO'd.

That, or you could poison them with Crobat G's Toxic Fang attack (2 damage counters between turns instead of 1) or Drapion LV. X's Tri Poison Poké-POWER (3 damage counters between turns instead of 1).
