Guiding questions:
1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
5. How's the artwork?
6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
Pretty bad HP for a stage 1, and horrible weakness. Great resistance and retreat.

2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
It's attack stinks. Can't be used with anything. However it's pokepower is one of the best out there. Huge disruption.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Pretty much any locking decks, but no specific combos.

4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
Ummm, pretty much none. I guess possibly darkness energy for higher attack? And maybe E-belt?

5. How's the artwork?
Pretty good. I like the backround. 4/5

6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
3.75/5. It's attack stinks but can get up to 70 power (to active only) with E-belt and darkness energy. 100 Hp with E-belt which is decent for stage 1. Awesome pokepower for disruption decks.

FIRST!!!!!

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).
All in all, not the worst card out there - and for a stage 1, again, not too bad. Not that ANY of that matters - most things can be 1HkO these days.

2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
Claw Snag is one of the best! Your opponent may not seem too bothered, but trust me - this power gets under their skin! Take a card - take ANY card! That means BTS, DCE, Gyarados, Luxray, Etc....but not spray X-D

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
I played this with Slowking from HGSS and Giratina (PL). The strategy was to clean out your opponent's hand and control what they drew on their next turn. REALLY annoying. Pair it with BTS, super scoop up, and junk arm (for scoop up), and you've got a REALLY annoying strategy that your opponent is sure to fall in love with.
Another nice pair up would be Sharpedo from TM - Use his first attack to eat your opponent's hand, use slowking to control the draw, and use claw snag to eat any cards that they may draw that could give them the upper hand (judge, pont, etc).

4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
Hmmmm, since it is really weak to fighting, maybe a good rescue energy. This will enable you to use the power again.

5. How's the artwork?
In my opinion, I think all of the artwork from HGSS is incredible! It is very classy! Weavile in particular is really well done. I imagine that these actual pieces get sold for some big $$$.

6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
I give this card a 4/5 because it doesn't go well with everything - but what does. This power is pretty close to perfect :)

1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost).

For a stage 1, the HP isn't that bad, I mean you wouldnt be attacking with it often. At least I wouldnt. The weakness is TERRIBLE, oh look its donphan. D: but again I wouldnt have it as the active, retreat cost is 0. Need I say more? Being as it is a dark pokemon you could always tech in houndoom that does fire counterattack for 1 dark energy doing 80 for 1 energy. :O

2. Analyze the attacks (and/or Poke-Powers, Poke-Bodies) of the card.
The attack isnt that bad however I wish it did at least 40 for 2 energies, when paired with honchkrow it can be useful due to blindside that does 50 to anything that has damage on it already.
The pokepower is where this card really draws its power, getting rid of one key card in this format can really ruin an opponents day.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Super scoop up, BTS, seeker. you can seeker a benched pokemon. This means that not only will you be able to claw snag again but it can snag a basic or evolution card!!! (snag the evolution card then start feint attacking basics!)
Another card I would advise playing with weavile is lost remover. lost remover gets rid of special energies, so weavile can snag the normal ones and put your opponent out of energy.

4. What techs can you use to combat the weak points?
the main weak point of this card is its weakness to fighting, however you can always tech in umbreon UD because the best fighting pokemon all have poke bodies and powers, (machamp, donphan).

5. How's the artwork?

The arts just meh... I personally love ken sugimoris art the most. the art seems too plain, just some leaves and a big ol weavile head. lol

6. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).

I would say its a 3.5 out of 5 because in the right deck its amazing but when put in other decks it just isnt enough.
