Time to spruce up the Writing Corner with something cool! :]
For those of you who have not done this before, here's the deal. Read the beginning that I have posted here, and write a small continuation to it (no more than 500 words). PM your entries to me, and I will post them anonymously when voting time comes. Judges will cast a vote for first, second, and third place. Each rank is assigned a point value: 10 for first, 7 for second, and 4 for third.
When voting time ends, the story with the most points will be added to the first post as the "real" continuation to the story. The next round begins, and everyone must write another 500-words-or-less continuation of that.
There are seven rounds (hopefully). Whoever has the highest score at that time is the winner.
You may sign up as a contestant as well as a judge, but if you do, you cannot vote for your own story. That's, like, lame to the max, yo.
Round one ends June 28, 2010, at 12 PM CDT. Have your entry submitted to me before that time OR PERISH >O
