I’m really surprised how successful Lucario & Melmetal was. I though it wouldn’t be good because of weakness, but looks like there wasn’t much fire making the top, which surprised me too.

They have Metal Frying Pan. Their weakness only comes into play if the fire decks ran Field blower which not everyone did

Given the results of Santa Clara (and Sao Paulo), I'd say Weezing is probably at least Tier 2: 18th at Santa Clara and Top 8 at Sao Paulo. The deck is played often enough that it isn't a rogue deck either.
