Ruling Typhlosion ex, help!

I have a question about Tyhphlosion ex from sandstorm.
What does the second attack Split blast do?

Discard 1 energy attached to Typhlosion EX. 100.

But, IF playing 2 vs 2, you MAY choose either 100 to one, OR 50 to BOTH of the DEFENDING POKEMON.

Can you chose if you wanna do 100 damage or if 50 damage to each defending pokemon?

Check serebii. They have it. Split blast is 100 to 1 or 50 to both.
