That is too bad but if they sell through retail stores then the items willsell quicker which means more money for Pokemon U.S.A.:)
 
to be completly honest, the US pokemon center hasn't had that many interesting items in months or, dare I say, years. On it's own, it's got a decent selection, but you compare it to the japanese center and it's just a world of difference from there. As such, Im not seeing this as much of a loss, as much as I want to say it is.
 
Actually I am very happy and sad.
For starters, It will be easier to buy it now for those who live outside America (Plus the only time I bought anything there was Pre-order of Pokemon Pearl due to the fact I spent my vacation there)

Bad thing is the way how you buy it with people looking. It is very hard to try and buy any Poke-related things besides The video games and Cards in just any store. Just imagine it, that many people with strange looks on your face.
 
Wow this is kinda bitter sweet. I never bought anything off of pokemon center but it was a nice option to have! And I always liked how they had the old figures from the old maker (I think it was Jakks but I'm not sure) But If more things come to retail stores like target then thats a good thing! I have noticed when I was there the other day that they had a new set of plusheis, so there may be more to come! I would like to see what happens out of this!
 
Pokemon Center is shuting down? Weird...Pokemon.com links to them in alot of places so that could end up getting confusing :/
 
They'll probably take those links down, eventually. It's kind of sad, but it's good that they'll be able to be sold in more places. Again, the Regionals aren't in the wonderful state of Arizona. :(

Pokemon Center should have shipped over seas then maybe they would not have gone out of business, face it, if your making heaps of money you wouldn't close something down.

In Australia Hasbro deals out Pokemon stuff through Target, Toys R Us etc...
 
it makes me sad. i bought stuff from them all the time. i just hope this means more stuff in stores like target. too bad the only toy store near here is shuting down and the only toys r us is 20 minutes away D:
