Hey guys! I was toying around with some of the cards from x and y and I think I found a pretty good use for trevanent especially when accelgor goes out of date and it's the card happens to be Greninja with its water shuriken it can snipe the bench or active pokemon making it great for when a mon that you've been attacking for a long time can be knocked out before it can be healed which has helped a lot in play testing so while trevanent a up there blocking items for your opponent so they can't evolve or heal thier pokemon you can take them out with some water shuriken and tree slam (yes you will hav to use tree slam but it's not that bad an attack since you also attack the bench so basically you just get your mons set up shut em down and spam shuriken and tree slam

If you have any ideas of how to make the deck better or other ways to use Greninja or trevanent I'd love to here them!:)

That is an interesting way to use both cards. I like Greninja with Blastoise EX/ Mega Blastoise and protect cube when it comes out.

A buudy of mine plays a kingdra/ Greninja deck that is pretty good. Its anoying when he does get it set up beacuse it is hard to stop.

Interesting idea of Water Shuriken sniping behind a Forest's Curse shield. I'd suggest you play test alot against Yveltal and Darkrai decks.

Did you ever consider Water Shuriken sniping behind Flygon's Sand Damage Ability? You can just run W energy then and inflict continual damage counter drops between EACH turn when Flygon is active.

I play a Yveltal/ darkrai deck that beats his kingdra/ greninja deck 8 out of 10 times. But there is the random time where I cant set up and he has three greninja on the bench and a Kyruem EX attacking.

Flygon would be interesting as well. If he ran a 1-1-1 dusknoir line it would be almost unstoppable.

I thought about a deck like that, but I couldn't narrow it down to 60 cards. I like the idea though.

Another idea is Snorlax/Greninja. Just use Snorlax to keep something in place while you snipe around them with multiple Greninjas.

Not surprising. I too play Yveltal-Darkrai and it's a great deck, especially against a setup deck with 2 stage 2 lines to setup and without 1HKO capability. Your friend will need another Poké/Poké line to counter decks like Yveltal-Darkrai more effectively; and there are a few... :)

Being able to specifically target opponent's Poké with Water Shuriken, not sure if Duknoir is really needed... Besides adding a 3rd stage 2 line seems would be a setup nightmare.

@I1lucky - what are your core Poké in your deck?

It would be a nightmare but it would be an ohko almost every turn once you get it set up.
IF you can ever get setup... And how consistent (e.g., setup t2) do you think the deck would be? I also suspect one would also be playing from behind in the prize capture race too.

Yeah now that i think of it dusknoir is a waste because you can attack any pokemon. Another way to run it is with a couple suicine and kyruem ex. Suicine if playing against ex heavy deck and kyurem because outrage is a pretty solid attack. If the game is slow you can throughout a frozen city to fuel Kyurem ex

I modified it adding sabaleye and using blend energy really really good helps Greninja get set up very fast and strong.
