Trainer Lock with Mismagius?

Trying to make a deck with Mismagius instead of Gengar beacuse it has same attack(Poltergeist) and less evolution. Any suggestions? I have:
x3 RH Mismagius
x1 Misdreavus(I know, I have to get some more)
x1 Vileplume
x3 Gloom
x4 Oddish
x1 Spiritomb
x7 Grass Energy
x4 Psychic Energy
x1 Seeker
x1 Black Belt
x2 Energy Exchanger(?)
 
Gengar is still superior to Mismagius, but if you want to run it, then you should max out your Spiritomb for consistency and greater odds of getting Spiritomb to start. Run 2-2-2 Vileplume for consistency, since running a 4-3-1 line is inconsistent and takes up space. No Grass Energy, since you'll never be attacking with Vileplume.

Since Mismagius is your main attacker, try to run 4 Mismagius.
 
I think mismaguis would be better with vilplume you can set them up faster and it dosent take up so many cards in your deck.
 
Gengar SF > Mismagius.

The problem with proposing Mismagius as a replacement is that it's supposed to be the main attacker for this deck. Gengar has more HP, +30 {D} weakness (whereas Mismagius has x2), free retreat, a better first attack, and a killer Poke-POWER.

Sure, it's a stage 2, but in a trainer lock deck you're probably running BTS anyway (not to mention Spiritomb), so getting Gengar out quickly shouldn't be a challenge.
 
Also Gengar SF can be leveled up to Gengar Lv. X whose poke-power can save you many a time. Not to mention the Gengar line has Gastly (SF) to lock right away if you don't get a Spiritomb.

P.S. you need 4 Spiritombs
 
If I pose Gengar as the main attacker, could I still play Mismagius from Unleashed and Undaunted as other Psychic attackers(Unleashed to move {P} energy to Gengar on Bench or ready-to-be-defeated Gengar as active, then retreat for free, and Undaunted to Poltergeist for defeated Gengars)?:D
 
Im also beginning to run this deck except I put in mr mime and slowking to control what my opponent draws forcing them to get trainer and supporters and the such. heres a deck list tell me what you guys think of any suggestions or criticism would be helpful

i think this could replace gengar after rotation....why is gengar always such a powerful card seriously we lose this gengar and pick up gengar prime. anyway 4-4 mismagius, 2-2-2 vileplume, 4 spiritomb, blah blah blah
