Ruling toxicroak g

i was reading something here on these forums and was wondering if toxicroak g's anticipation poke-body prevents damage from machamp SF

If Machamp uses Take Out against Toxicroak G PL, it will do no damage.

What do you mean damage?
Toxicroak G will prevent the knock out effect from Machamp's first attack, Take Out, and also the 40 damage that is printed next to the attack, because the KO effect replaces the damage, but is blocked by Toxicroak's body, resulting in nothing from Take Out.
As for the other 2 attacks, Toxicroak doesn't prevent any of their effects because the effects don't affect Toxicroak, just the damage that they produce. So for Hurricane Punch and Rage, Toxicroak doesn't prevent either of their effects or the damage that they do.

ok, so toxicroak g's poke-body anticipation prevents all effects from machamp's take out attack but machamp can still hit toxicroak g with hurrican pundh and rage, correct?

Croak totally cancels the effect and damage from Take Out, but otherwise you are correct.
