Card of the Day: Toxicroak​

It is like a Terrakion with its first attack. Revenge is good as it only uses {C} to attack for 90. It OHKO Mewtwo. It is an excellent card though being a stage 1 loses a lot. It can be teched in any deck if you don't want to tech Terrakion if you can't add fighting energies. You can make a 2-2 tech though you may have problems with the evolutions. Maybe having Ditto will help it make a surprise.

Playbility: 6/10 (because of Terrakion and the fast format it won't be so popular.)

Pros
-A possible 90 for one colorless. (which kills mewtwo)
-Magical 90HP lets it be searched by level ball.

Cons
-It's a stage 1.
-Easily KOed by a lot of things.

I like this card. In some ways it's better than terrakion in that it requires only one energy to attack and retreat. You could surprise your opponent by benching ditto and evolving it into toxicroak next turn. But I still think terrakion is the better choice. It's basic, hits more things for weakness, has higher HP, and can continue to OKHO things with land crush. Toxicroaks second attack is just average. It will only one shot emolga and sableye (and some evolving basics).

This can't really replace Terrakion because Terrakion isn't good because of the fact that revenge does 90 damage, Terrakion is good because of its typing, which one shots Darkrai.
 
Sorry to rain on peoples parades, but it is not a competitive card at all. Sure it revenge's mewtwos, but your opponent will see it coming or you will have to use ditto, but you are better of just using your own mewtwos in that space. Don't get me started about the second attack. In competitive play you will NEVER get that powered up, and with 90 HP it is very vulnerable to night spear. Not to mention it's a stage 1 attacker...
