Looking good, xTITAN! I take it that Stakataka components would give Stakataka-GX access to some attacks? I wouldn't see much point of the card, then, otherwise. :p

For Powerful Jaws, Defending Pokemon would be your opponent's Active Pokemon, because the effect would become confusing if the attack somehow hit a Benched Pokemon. Otherwise, the correct wording does depend on the effect that you're going for. Currently, the effect is that Pokemon can't go to the discard, their deck or hand, or onto the Bench, but I think you were probably mean just the can't go to the Bench. If that's the case, then I would recommend something like:

During your opponent's next turn, if your opponent's Active Pokemon would become a Benched Pokemon by an effect, prevent that effect.
This wording is pretty specific and rather difficult to confuse, and also explains how a player should deal with an effect that would cause the Pokemon to become a Benched Pokemon (that is, you "prevent it"). Ref: Clamperl PRC (or similar effects)

Interesting, but that means that Stakataka can't ever actually dish out damage? I'd imagine that this would make the Ability rather pointless.

It's designed to be used in a mill deck. The ability is to set up a second Stakataka if the first gets knocked out.
