The Spyro Games! EDIT-Video Added!

AHHH I love Spyro so much, well, games 1-3 that is, the new ones are kinda meh, ever since Insomniac stopped making them. I have beat those 3 games at least 20 times each. They are just amazing, Ripto's Rage has to be my favorite game of all time.
 
Ya Spyro is awesome. I still have the first two, Spyro the Dragon and Year of the Dragon! I was actually just playing them on PS2! Just need a memory card to save.
 
Dude you need to get Ripto's Rage, it is the second release, for PS1 making year of the dragon actually the third. That is awesome that you are playing the old school ones too, kinda of a shame without a memory card though, have far have you got on each without a memory card? It should be very hard to find a memory card for PS2, a lot of people still play it.
 
I have a PS2 memory card, but whenever i try to save, the game sais no memory card inserted, do i need a memory card for PS1?
 
^Yes you do.There is no backwards compatibility between the two from my understanding.

I am playing a PS1 Spyro game on a PS2, so I will need a PS1 memory card inserted in the PS2, and not a PS2 memory card to save, right?
 
I've always loved the Spyro games, well, at least the ones that were released for the play-station and the play-station 2. When they hit the wii they dropped pretty hard. Take offense or not, but the Wii motion system is shit...really, it is...

Yes.You will need to use a Ps1 memory card inserted into the Ps2, as you are not capable of saving PS1 data on a PS2 memory card.You can however,transfer data from your PS1 Memory card to your PS2's via the PS2 Browser.
