Last Updated: 7 January 2010

---

PokéBeach Groups, (formerly "Clans & Clubs") is a forum for exclusive groups created by members for our members. Any group that is active in this forum has gone through the application process to be approved as a discussion worthy group.

---

General Rules:

1. All PokeBeach Forums Rules apply.

2. Read all the rules! As a group leader, co-leader or member, reading the rules is the key to having success in this forum. It is advised that you read all of them.

3. Your group idea and thread must be approved by the staff. You must fill out the application form and PM it to Juliacoolo. The application form is here.

4. Any thread that has not had 5 different members post in a month will be locked.

5. Being a group leader or a co-leader is a position that will not be treated lightly. Group leaders are responsible for keeping the group active. Do this by keeping close with your members, creating good discussion topics, and organizing activities. Being a group leader also means you agree to report any spam in your thread by using the report button. If your group gets filled with spam or completely off topic, it will be locked.

6. Accepting New Members: If you wish to join a group, simply PM the group leader the application and request to join. That group leader should then PM you back and let you know if you are in or not. DO NOT apply in a group thread or ask to join in the thread.

7. Welcoming: If a new member posts in a group, and you want to say hi, do so in PM or add more to your post. Posts that only say things like "Welcome!" and do not contribute to discussion will be treated as spam.

8. Don't mini mod. You are allowed to report anything wrong by using the
postbit_report.gif
button on a post, please do not take matters into your own hands. This counts for group leaders, group co-leaders and group members. If you have see something that needs the urgent attention of a moderator, please PM me. Otherwise, report the post.

9. Exceptions to General Rule #3
General Rule #3 states that a member may not post in a thread older than two weeks. Under certain circumstances, dead threads may be posted in only if the author has requested permission from Juliacoolo. There are only certain circumstances in which the clan leader/co-leader may contact me to post in a dead thread.

Please note that groups will not be unlocked unless the group leader submits a new application and is able to present a valid reason for the unlocking of the group. (If the group was locked by request you do not need to submit a new application.)

10. Group Leaders are allowed to "bump" their threads once a week. A "bump" is just a post that says "bump" and bumps the thread to the top of the forum.

11. Members can be warned under the warning type of "Custom Reason" for breaking any rules in this forum. Number of points awarded and date of expiry will vary according to the offense.

12. Try to maintain a level of intelligent discussion in all threads in this forum. If spam is seen, a moderator will warn you. Report spam immediately to a moderator by using the report button. Major instances of spam in threads will result in having the thread locked.

13. Friend Codes (FC's) should be listed in the first post of a group that involves wi-fi connections. It is the group leader's responsibility maintain the list of friend codes so that all group members have easy access to the codes.

14. Co-Leaders may only be appointed by the Group Leader.

15. If you are a member of more than one TCG group or VG Battling group, you must quit all but one of those groups as soon as possible. You have until July 16th to do this. PMs will be sent out to group leaders to ensure this is enforced. Members of other miscellaneous groups will not be affected by this change. This applies only to TCG and Battling groups. Thanks!

16. If you currently run an active Group, then you may apply to run multiple Groups. If the one you currently run is deemed successful enough and has been active for at least one month, you have a higher chance of getting approved to run multiple Groups.
