The Oscars - Who won, should have won, & the best films of 2012

Was anyone surprised or thought someone especially deserved the award? What were your favorite films of 2012?

I was glad "Life of Pi" won several awards! Great movie.

 

[Haunted Water]

It was less of a let down than last years', but that's not saying it was good. Seth MacFarlane made it watchable, imo. There wasn't much competition, and it was bandwagonning at its best. But what would you expect from an institution that decided to nominate Prometheus for anything?

I'm disappointed Looper got nothing in the nominations. That was one of my favorite movies from 2012. Honestly, there wasn't that many surprises. Most of the front runners in the main categories won so whatever. The only upset I would have liked to see is Wreck-It Ralph winning over Brave but that would have been a longshot.

Yeah it was cool to see Life of Pi win. WHat I didn't like was Wreck it Ralph losing to Brave. Boooo!
