The Number Chain

NOTICE: For those who aren't the best or do not have any interest at all in math would not enjoy this game.

RULES: Here's how it goes...
1. I post a simple equation.
2 + 5 - 4 = __
2. The next member solves it.
Simply, 2 + 5 = 7 and 7 - 4 = 3
3. The next member also posts a new
equation along with their answer, BUT the
equation has to start with the answer of the previous
problem. So....
3 + 2 - 4 = __

Get it? It's fairly simple. I won't pull algebra on you yet, lol. :p
Please post only if you're serious about posting the answer to the problem so basically, don't saying something like, "liek somethin between the numbers 3 and 5 i have no idea". That will throw off the entire game, and you should just wait for someone else to submit an educated answer. Also, please don't let the problem be basically unsolvable. Make sure a value can be determined from it before jabbing down a random equation without thinking it through. We want the chain to last as long as it can until I change it. :)

Please have fun. Once the chain gets over used, I'll start a new and harder equation, hehehe. Please enjoy.

I'LL START: 2 + 3 + 5 - 8 = __

OK,

2+3=5, 5+5=10, 10-8=2

2 is the answer.

2 + 45 - 23 + 12.3 - 23.7 = _

V Just how many can deal with integrals?!

Finishing up:
f(0) = 4

f(x) = x^2 + 4x + 12.6 + C
f(x) = x^2 + 4x + C
f(0) = 0 + C = 4
C = 4
f(x) = x^2 + 4x + 4
f(-1) = 1 - 4 + 4 = 1
Next question.

1 + 1=___

This is getting a little too complex. Let's keep it easy so all members can try a little bit.

2(3) - 3 + 2 + 6(6)= __

Okay this one is still a little easy. But let's see who can solve it. ;)
