Quite looking forward to it, even though it won't make it into English for ages.
I think I saw on Bulbapedia that Ash is using his Torterra, as well as Infernape.
I expect Infernape to take a few nasty hits and then go batsh!t insane, and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

What are you talking about? Season 13 is set to be televised on Cartoon Network this coming Summer however I'm not sure when though since the original release date got delayed.
Yeah Ash's final Gym Battle in Sinnoh is long overdue, heck I think Dawn's been getting more attention in the series lately than Ash has and it's too bad we won't see Lyra again even though it was a "promotional" thing for HeartGold and SoulSilver.
I really wouldn't mind If the series went back to it's roots, at least resolve the issue of Team Rocket's role in the series instead of recycling plot twists and story arcs that we've seen over and over again for 12 straight seasons.

I think that Dawn is getting more attention then Ash is in the series. It takes a for Ash to just get to a gym and battle. If he arrives there early there is always a problems and they have to cancel the battle till later on. I think that the battle against Ash and Volkner will be fun to watch. I also think that this battle will be longer than the previous battles that Ash has fought.
Ah, yes. Ash's battle with Volkner is probably one of the most anticipated battles in my book. I was really annoyed when the first one was delayed, but eh.
I guess the focus of the battle could once again be Infernape's Blaze - maybe it'll actually (finally) learn to control it somehow.

Fun battle. No idea what anyone was saying, but I'll find out in a few months.
Still, I think that Flint's Infernape wins the awesome award for me, when it went to town on Ash's Pikachu... I probably shouldn't have laughed when I saw it kick Pikachu into a wall, but I did. Long and hard.

What was better? Ash vs Drake on the Orange Islands was good, but that was a full 6v6 battle that took a double episode to finish. I like that Pikachu activated his ability again, that was good. And even Torterra put up a good fight.
I do think that Jolteon went down a bit easily though. That being said, it was being repeatedly being beaten about the head.
