Team Aqua Decks

We had a thread talking about the possibilities of team magma pokemon- now lets talk team aqua. personally im seeing this as the more successful of the two teams, after doing some math on aqua kyogre and being actually pretty surprised by its huge damage output. it also has some really interesting support cards like the double energies and the team aqua admins.

These cards seem to be revolving around increasing the opponent's retreat cost then hitting for absurd numbers with Aqua Kyogre EX. i actually feel this card has a huge amount of potential as the metagame shifts towards 3 big threats in particular (among a couple of others)- Mega Aggron EX, Primal Kyogre EX, and Primal Groudon EX. a Team Aqua's Kyogre EX actually has a good chance of ohkoing all of these megas thanks to their disgusting 4 retreat cost, needing 2 muk in play along with the stadium "Team Aqua Hideout" and a muscle band. Also, unlike Magma Groudon EX it has access to a potentially very good supporter card, Team Aqua Admins (team aqua's version of blacksmith i guess)- which can help it accelerate energy and to power its attack in 2 turns. 190hp is also a big jump up from 180, as its enough to survive what most decks aim for as their maximum damage output (although this might change with the new primals).

Aqua seems like a very linear deck with less versatility? (since most will rely on aqua kyogre and its powerful attack), although I could also see a Muk/Chandelure EX deck working successfully with virbank city gym and lasers, since Pester is a good attack for 120 damage on a stage 1, along with having a strong ability and the chance to hit for 170hp in a turn with aqua admins, laserbank, DCE and muscle band. Chandelure EX offers a good 1 energy attack, whilst the combo of confuse + not being able to switch can be a real pain to deal with. There's also the Aqua Walrein, which discards 2 water energy (which can be negated with double aqua energy) to hit 2 pokemon for 80 - not so sure about this card. Aqua Sharpedo's another option which might potentially just be a bit too much to fit into a deck. Perhaps a retreat cost toolbox style deck with stuff like beartic or forretress? What do you guys think? Is there potential in these team aqua cards/ team aqua decks in general?

In just Primal Clash and Double Crisis alone, there have been 22 new pokemon with a whopping 4 retreat cost and 24 pokemon with 3 retreat cost- boosting Aqua Impact's damage to a very good 140-160- and thats without any damage boosting items, muk, or stadiums in play. It then becomes very easy to knock out 180hp pokemon from there, and thats even without benching any muks.
