Tangrowth is the latest trend in the metagame, thanks to its amazing bulk (especially complemented by Assault Vest and Regenerator). It is a fantastic pivot to so much of OU and it's difficult to take down as a result. It's also incredibly flexible, thanks to how diverse its moveset is, and you can tailor its moveset to take on whatever you like as a result. Thanks to these traits, Tangrowth is quickly establishing itself as an OU staple, and is one of the most effective Pokemon in OU.

What do you think of Tangrowth? What teammates are you using it with?
 
I guess the big reason this thing rose in ou is the downfall of Talonflame. I really love using it as a pivot. I don't like the AV set so much because it prevents me from using LS, which is a very good way to scare away switch ins.

I guess Heatran is the best teammate for it?
